While I've learned a lot in PLTW, I am by far most proud of the 3D modeling and 3D printing skills I developed in Introduction to Engineering Design, as well as outside of the classroom. While I definitely needed a few pushes here and there to stick with it, I took something that I had initially found incredibly challenging and was able to significantly improve my skills and understanding. I also started my own freelancing business, and was able to further develop those skills in an internship. My CAD skills have provided me with so many opportunities, so I'm really proud to have developed them.
If I had any advice for incoming PLTW seniors, it would be to spend as much time and energy as you possibly can finding a problem that you are truly passionate about. All good solutions have to start from a good problem, and you don't want to be stuck for an entire year working on an issue you don't care about. (For example, a prosthetic leg for a cat.)
